qbittorrent invalid username and password

What is the problem?

i had invalid username and password when i was certain it was correct then i used the guide from https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/wiki/Web-UI-password-locked-on-qBittorrent-NO-X-%28qbittorrent-nox%29 and delted the WebUI\Password_PBKDF2 line then i restarted the docker container and tried adminadmin and i still get invalid username and/or password im definatly putting in the credentials right

Steps to reproduce

setup qbittorrents docker image and run via docker compose
go though first time setup
attempt to add a reverse proxy
reload and try to log in
invalid credentials

Additional context

i tried restarting qbit between tries and tried going through the reverse proxy and a vpn all of which dont work

the temp password was in logs and i had to use the admin username

Is that really nessecary
