Following this discussion, QGIS notifications are too numerous, and too much invasive in Windows, especially because of the feature count notifications

I still need to investigate if only feature count notifications is making too much noise.

I find them a bit intrusive, to be honest, but I feel like there are some really great opportunities for the notifications, if implemented well.

I wonder if maybe Feature counting should just not trigger a notification at all? I don't see much value in that notification.

However, for things like processing finishing, selection finishing, etc. I feel the notifications are more useful.

I completely agree.

Notifications could be of a great assistance if they are well managed.

But feature count should not raise multiple notifications. At maximum one when feature count is completed for all layers.
