Web UI WebSocket state, errors, reconnect #2

Web UI just logs an error to console on websocket disconnect and the UI stops working correctly. It should show in the UI, and reconnect.

Done:

header now shows websocket/request state
footer status shows any errors
websocket reconnects every 3s
