Issue: Game crashes when turning on certain cheats made for the vitamin dump.
As seen here:

I believe I have the vitamin dump version, so I'm not sure what is causing this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

There's no reason to use a Vitamin dump nowadays when NoNpDrm dumps are extremely easy to get and don't present the issues that Vitamin ones are known for.

Try installing the NoNpDrm version of the game and use the codes for said version to see if the issue persists. I have personally used these codes and they work without issues in the NA version of the game (you can remove the Vitamin ones from the .PSV file as they are not needed).

Same result. It's the last two cheats that I'd like to use specifically, those are apparently cheats for the vitamin dump. Some of the other non vitamin codes work fine.
I'm not sure what's causing that issue, but I suppose I can make do without using them until a fix comes along.

Other than trying to remove the chinese characters used in the speedfly cheats, and using only one type of code at a time, I don't know what your issue is.

Some people have reported before that the cheats simply worked after trying a few times, but most were the cheats simply not having any effect on the game and not necessarily causing a crash. If you have tried the NoNpDrm dump and it still presents the same issue, it would be a good idea to go to the gbatemp thread and ask for help from one of the coders there.

Turns out I didn't actually have a vitamin dump at the time of me posting this issue. Wasn't aware they are installed via VPK. My mistake.
Anyway, it seems like the VPK/Vitamin cheats do not work at all. Nothing happens in game after activating them.
Hopefully this can be fixed at some point. I suppose I'll stick with the NoNpDRM version for now.

Yeah, well, as a general rule, codes made for Vitamin will not necessarily work on the NoNpDrm version; same with NoNpDrm ones on a Vitamin dump. We have them on the same file here because vitacheat doesn't really let you manage multiple code lists as they are named based on the game ID, which you can only have one on your cheats folder. That way you will have the codes no matter the version you are playing (even though anything but NoNpDrm should be avoided).

You would need to port the Vitamin codes to NoNpDrm yourself, or ask for help with that in the gbatemp thread.

I've already asked in the gbatemp thread. Perhaps I should have specified; I was using a vitamin dump version of the game with those same vitamin dump cheats enabled and nothing happened. I'm aware of the dump specific codes not working on different versions. In any case, they need to be looked at. Thanks for the help and information.
