The handin server will prevent users from creating names that begin with the letters nul',con', and others.

To reproduce:

  1. With a handin client/server installed and configured...
  2. In DrRacket, go to File -> Manage ... Account
  3. Click the New User tab
  4. Enter the username confoolery', 'nulsrsly', orconway.la'. Fill in other sections as appropriate.
  5. Click Add User

Get the error message:

create-user error: username must not be a Windows special file name
