I want to float the idea of starting a community-driven improvements section in Github to the RailCore project.

Two main parts to this idea:-

Ideas or improvements, which then become sanctioned improvements and merged into the RailCore 2 build.
For ideas and improvements that can't be merged into the existing build, be submitted to "RailCore 3" for consideration on that project.

Perhaps we can collect all such ideas here, and then setup Milestones in github to triage them between (roughly):

  • Easy improves to Railcore2
  • More involved upgrades to Railcore2 (maybe think of this as Railcore2.5?)
  • Things that only make sense in terms of a totally new build and become Railcore3 (or later)

Seems a reasonable way to address things.
I'll create a RailCore2.5 label (I'm not in love with the "wording", but I can't think of a better tag and I agree with the sentiment 😄 )
