Fix test suite #1154

Changes required to get the test suite running (not necessarily passing):

Need to register the SQL Server adapter, see Refactor lookup of connection adapters rails/rails#50064
ActiveRecord::Base.connection is deprecated, now you need to call lease_connection, see Deprecate ConnectionPool#connection rails/rails#51230
