FR: Convert SELECTED markers to regions

We already have the fantastic SWS actions Convert markers to regions and Convert regions to markers. It would be fantastic if we had two additional actions, please:

Convert selected markers to regions
Convert selected regions to markers

Probably prerequisite (without resorting to hacky solutions) would be API for getting selected markers/regions.

It's scriptable, the markers/regions can be selected with razor edit areas which allow non-contiguous selection.
