When you create a GitHub release, GitHub sends emails to everyone who is watching the repo, in particular people watching the repo for "Releases only."

The latest release shown in GitHub is 3.0.4 from 9 December 2017, yet there are five newer versions available in opam. It also seems like 3.0.4 is the latest tag known to GitHub in this repo.
