Allow to prefix Nav Items with Icons

I would like to be able to prefix my categories, so like "General" or "Customizing" on the dokz docs with an icon.

How would you configure this? I don't want to add to much configuration, it becomes difficult to keep it in sync with the files and folders structure (which is the ground truth)

For me it would already be helpful if I could do it for pages, it could maybe be done inside the Document settings at the top of the file.

For categories it could possibly done in the Document Settings of the index file
