Saving game writes save blank

Describe the bug
After saving the game through save and continue the .sav file was blank.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Collect a star.
2. Select save and continue.
3. Open the .sav file in notepad.
4. It might be blank.

Expected behavior
Blank .sav file

This has been happening ever since a 110 star save i had went blank.

It's funny that yours is also showing Mario B twice. I have the same issue with my latest rt64alpha build. It doesn't show the Mario A savefile that's clearly visible and usable in the normal tester build.

I figured out how to fix it. So you see the mario b file on the right? So first select "stereo" from the sound option and then the file b on the right. It fixed it for me.
