Objective

Create an R4DS Online Learning Community website using Blogdown, Hugo, and Netlify using the rfordatasci.com domain. Jesse has access to the domain settings, etc - please reach out to her in Slack when you need DNS information entered, etc.

Success criteria

• Website uses Blogdown, Hugo, and Netlify via the R4DS GitHub account
• Website has the following minimum functionality:
  • Ability to post blog posts
  • About page
  • Link to sign-ups (see below)
• Learners get the opportunity to learn! It’s far better for this project to take three months and have everyone learn than to get it done in a couple of days and have community members feel left behind.
  • Please talk to those in the learning stage to find out what they’re interested in learning
  • Learners - please advocate for yourselves and let others know what you’d like to learn!
  • It may be helpful to have learners “follow along” by creating a version of the site (or their own site) on their own GH account
