Hello,

Is there a reason that the authenticate method in line 80 of authentication.rb takes 'leaf' as a last parameter? Or it's just forgotten there?

It's not used in any of the existing authenticators, but it's there in case you wanted to write your own complex authenticator that needed access to the leaf.
