I am wondering if the ability to change colours at runtime would be coming down the line? - I'd imagine it being an input you define - a variable which element properties can point to within the editor.
Also, do you have a public roadmap we can refer to? - We're looking at how viable it would be for us to use Rive to display a real time representation of live sport events (multiple sports / products) and it would be nice for us to know what is coming up and when so that I can advocate for Rive to be used as a solution.
Thanks.

Hi! There are broader plans for connecting data to properties like color to accomplish this at runtime coming soon. This might include an isolated API eventually for setting color, but right now going about it thru the state machine is the recommended/predictable way. Either way, happy to keep this issue open until we can get a better solution out here.
For roadmap following/feature requests, feel free to follow along the feature-requests channel in our Discord https://discord.com/invite/FGjmaTr. We may have another means of surfacing feature requests/showing off roadmap items in the future, but you can follow this for now.
