Problem with Notepad3 attached to taskbar. #2332
Comments
Hello, Thinking about this feature, it was no good Idea in the end. Loaded files should only be pushed to the taskbar's jump-list. if they were not loaded via File-Explorer (which does this automatically) and not restore the internal file history as jump-list 🤔 . |
Feel free to test the BETA version "Notepad3Portable_5.20.515.1_BETA.paf.exe.7z" or higher. Note1: "Notepad3Portable PAF" can be used in "2 flavors", see with or without extension ".7z". Note2: If you follow the instructions #1105, you can also update your "Notepad3 Installer version" with the latest BETA version (see #1129). Your comments and suggestions are welcome... 😃 |

Hello, I may have a problem with Notepad 3 V5.20.414 and would like to tell you about it.
I have attached Notepad 3 to the taskbar of my Win10 PC. As you know, right-clicking on the icon, the previously opened files will be displayed. I can delete these entries, but after the next start of the PC all are back. The list gets longer and longer and longer. Since there is not this problem with all other programs that I have attached to the taskbar, I suspect that it must be the Notepad 3 itself. Can you check that out, please?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards
Michael Bloch
