Something in the lines of less -X. Free's up some vital brain-juice.

@hkjels Does set t_ti= t_te= in your vimpagerrc file do what you want? It works for me with vim but not with neovim (see neovim/neovim#3432 for their issue, it might be fixed in neovim some day).

I found this as a first hit with a search engin: http://shallowsky.com/linux/noaltscreen.html

It is not hard to add a new command line options -X to vimpager to set these options.
