Here https://github.com/rncbc/samplv1/blob/master/CMakeLists.txt#L3 drumkv1 is set as project name for some reason.

already fixed in develop branch

on the other news plwase don't go with cmake at this time

GNU configure fails:

checking for Qt library version >= 5.1... no; Qt 5.1 or greater is required

How to build it then?

Please advise.

you of course need Qt5 development files installed in your system... if you still have Qt4 around please get rid of it, it's dead and it is getting in the way.

I have Qt-5.15.2 installed.
