Can't load from game files in practice

Error:

  ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '\x00\x1c\x00\x00\x00\x02"

Happens right at the return where the parsed result is being cast to an int.

I honestly don't know why this is happening. The test file works on both Windows and Linux. The main file works on Window, but not on Linux.
