how to change picture when application is running

this was a feature included in a very early commit. reference ViewController.m from commit #5 on Aug 24th, the array of images, and the swipe gesture:

i removed the feature because i felt it relied on another method of input- selecting the image- which infringed too closely to requiring a extra UI which was out of scope.
I'm available to discuss the scope. I intend on this being an engine to assist getting over the hurdle of pairing geometry to orientation. User interface remains outside the current scope.
