Hi, I was trying out your app, I thought you might like some useful feedback.
Things I do when using a2dp in my car, after I plug in the charge cable.
1. Set screen to stay awake
2. Set maximum brightness
3. Press play on my head deck to start launch the default music player.
Right now I use tasker to set those items when bt connects, however I cannot
specify a device or a2dp specifically with tasker only bt in general, they
would be a fantastic addition to your app if I could choose my car specifically
for this actions.

I implemented the app auto-launch now. In fact you can even specify a play
list, Pandora station, etc.
The screen stay awake and max brightness would be a huge battery killer. On
most devices you can configure it in the Android settings to stay awake. I
presume you have the device plugged in to external power when you do this?
Here is a nice free app for this:
https://market.android.com/details?id=net.leppoc.android.dashboard&feature=searc
h_result or https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bk&feature=also_installed
Do we still need this feature in A2DP Volume?
There is also a feature in settings > applications > development for "stay
awake" while charging. This should keep the screen ON as long as the phone is
charging
