Well first merge in my html5 boilerplate stuff so we can have gzip haha. Low hanging fruit and all.

MariaDB already has the query cache on by default and it's set to 16MB which is a sane default (especially on a common 1GB server for example). I don't think there's really any common performance tuning to do I think we're good for default setups.
