Before we merge this, we should list at least one application
Our Amazon Robotics Challenge 2017 entry used MoveIt for motion primitives and kinematic checks and the robot's internal IK for linear motions IIRC. The source code is online, as is the code of other teams who used MoveIt. |

There are many diverse application examples of what you can use MoveIt for. The list below demonstrates some of the advanced applications developed on MoveIt. You can have fun by trying the applications, which may help you figure out how to fit different features together. If you are interested, you can visit [MoveIt Tutorials](https://ros-planning.github.io/moveit_tutorials/) for further technical details. At the same time, your contribution is encouraged, no matter the application is developed for some usages, competitions or research topics, or to demonstrate the newly developed MoveIt feature. |

Added a small section introducing moveit_example_apps
and a list holding large open source projects using MoveIt.

Description
This PR is a follow-up to the discussions in moveit_issue#1432 and MoveIt Maintainer Meeting Recap - April 25th, 2019. The next possible actions are to prepare the first application and CI test, add it to the list and integrate the produced tutorial back to moveit_tutorials.
