Hi, Another mailR user had a similar issue. He resolved his problem by updating the security settings for Gmail. Perhaps you could give it a shot as well: https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps Let me know if it works! |

Hello,
first of all thank you for this package, but until now i cant use it, i tried in my work and i had this error messag:
org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException: Sending the email to the following server failed : smtp.gmail.com:465
i think at first that there is a firwall in my work, i have tried it with my personal computer and i have the same problem.
Did you have an explanation for this error, i searched a lot on internet but i found nothing relevant?
