Hello,
first of all thank you for this package, but until now i cant use it, i tried in my work and i had this error messag:
org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException: Sending the email to the following server failed : smtp.gmail.com:465
i think at first that there is a firwall in my work, i have tried it with my personal computer and i have the same problem.
Did you have an explanation for this error, i searched a lot on internet but i found nothing relevant?

thanks

Alex

Hi,

Another mailR user had a similar issue. He resolved his problem by updating the security settings for Gmail. Perhaps you could give it a shot as well:

Let me know if it works!

Hello Rauhl,
thanks for your answer, i have tried this manipulation in work and i have the same problem.
I will try it at home and i will send you the feedback (because i think that at work it's a little complecated firewall ...)

regards
Alex
