I was trying out the Japanese text corpus. Unfortunately, the program is not really compatible with using a custom IME, to the point that it’s completely unusable.
It currently behaves in the following way:
When a word consists of multiple characters, the input is cut after the first character and after the penultimate character (which makes it very difficult to input the rest of the word due to the way pronunciation-based IMEs work).
Also when a word consists of multiple characters and the last character is input, it will be doubled.
When a word consists of a single character, it works just fine. WTF?
I’m using ibus-mozc to input Japanese on Ubuntu.
