John Ogness has provided a patch for moving the bootstrap location back from 1MB to 2MB to support iBookG4. It would be good to make sure this change doesn't break anyone else before merging.
It still boots my G5. I don't have a way to reproduce the failure Tony Breeds was worried about, and this should get John's iBook support working in master, so this is merged in c9a727d

Kernel sizes have roughly doubled since then(~3 years ago).
