The versions from 4.0 onwards no longer have the 'r' with oblique terminal.

The Inter font should reinstate the alternate 'r' with oblique terminal, available on v3.19 and earlier.

• In particular, this issue wants to re-instate the glyphs highlighted below.
  
• These alternate 'r's are absent from version 4.0 since first beta.

This was a very intentional change. Will probably not add this since basically no one was using it (AFAIK) and it is quite a lot of work.

I used them. They were quite nice. The problem was that copying and pasting text with the alternate glyphs to other software with other fonts, would result in tofus.
