Exporting Data

The King Phisher client supports a number of formats for exporting data collected from a campaign. Some of the formats are better suited for specific purposes.

Message Configuration (KPM) Files

The King Phisher client can export data pretaining to the configuraiton of a message with a KPM file. A KPM file is simply a bzip2 compressed tar file with a manifest describing the included files. The KPM file will include any attachment, embeded images the message template as well as the targets list.

Once exported the KPM file can be reloaded into the King Phisher client to restore all settings relevant to sending a message.

Campaign Excel Files

All data available in each of the main tabs can be exported to an Excel Workbook. Each of these tabs will has a dedicated sheet with the information that can be seen from within the client.

Campaign Visits GeoJSON

King Phisher is capable of exporting the data regarding the geographic location of vists into the standard GeoJSON format. This file can then be imported into any application which supports the format. An online utility at geojson.io can be used to load the file and plot the origin of visits on a map from within a browser.

Campaign XML

Campaign data can also be exported into an XML file which will contain all data stored regarding the campaign. This file is suitable for use by users that want to write custom applications which analyze the data gathered by King Phisher.

CSV Output

Each of the campaign's tables can be exported to a CSV file. This file format makes it easy to export data from King Phisher to be utilized by another tool.
