The UG makes an explicit assumption of a 5.0 GPA or a linear grading system. But in NUS alone, some majors do use a 4.0 scale

Team's Response

Our application is targeted towards SoC in NUS specifically, which uses the 5.0 GPA scale. This is mentioned in our UG.
