A single-file web application that converts images to text using Tesseract.js. Supports multiple languages and can be used directly in a web browser.
- Supports multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Arabic, Danish, Korean, Hindi, and more.
- User-friendly interface: upload an image by dragging and dropping or clicking to select.
- Download the converted text as a .txt file.
To use this application, follow these steps:
- Clone this repository or download the
Image_ 2_Text_Converter.html
file. - Open the
Image_ 2_Text_Converter.html
file in a web browser.
The application uses Tesseract.js to recognize text in the images uploaded by the user. Once the image is uploaded and the 'Convert to Text' button is clicked, Tesseract.js begins recognizing the text. After the text is recognized, it can be downloaded as a .txt file.
