After uninstalling Rtools, my path still contained D:\Rtools\bin;D:\Rtools\mingw_32\bin.

Suggestion: let the uninstaller clean up the path variable as well.

Yes that would be nice, however it's not easy to do. Because the user or other programs may have modified PATH after we installed rtools. So it would involve some scripting to search for rtools in the PATH and strip it.

FYI rtools35 no longer adds D:\Rtools\mingw_32\bin to the PATH because the toolchain should be specified via BINPREF.

@jeroen Indeed, that was a leftover of the previous version of Rtools. My mistake. I'm not familiar with Inno Setup yet, but I might take a shot at it later if you didn't find the time.

I have some issues with Rtools 3.4, I then uninstalled it and installed 3.5. Now my PATH show:

[1] "C:\Program Files\R\R-3.5.1\bin\x64"
[2] "C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\iCLS Client\"
[3] "c:\Rtools\bin"
[4] "C:\RBuildTools\3.4\bin"
[5] "C:\RBuildTools\3.4\mingw_32\bin"
...

How do I get rid of RTools 3.4 from path and put back 3.5?

Thanks!
-K

Just set it manually in your system settings? https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000549.htm
