I have concerns.

Regardless, the structure already feels quite messy. Will give some more thought.

Unfortunately the demands of my various other activities are largely preventing me from sitting down and thinking through this strictly.

On top of that, I'm usually coding for this project when I'm desirous of cooling off, and not particularly interested in sitting down and thinking through the various interlocking parts. Which I realize is counter-productive. Sigh.

Coming back to this after over a year.

One thing that definitely occurs to me:
The Person class should definitely handle all clothing, and I would question the need for a separate Appendage class.

I think a lot of things can be simplified, which should let me focus more on aspects which interest me, rather than spending all my time getting caught up in structure. (Hopefully without accruing much code debt.)
