Question device compatibility, will glance work with Alta or Charge 2 device?

Hi,

Looking for some type of activity band for my 9 year old.
Will glance work on Alta and/or Charge 2 device?

I am currently using ionic for myself to follow her values with xdrip and it works pretty good.
However ionic/versa is way to big for her wrists, so was thinking of buying on of these bit more slimmer products. But I am not sure if this watch face will work with those.

Hey, currently Glance only works with Fitbit smart watches this includes the Fitbit Versa and Fitbit ionic.

It will not work for other trackers like the Alta or charge as they do not allow 3rd party developers to release apps on them

@zshh for the sake of discussion here -- Those watches dont run Fitbit OS and won't allow for custom Clock Faces to be created (this is what Glance is) -- BUT, if you are using a CGM app on your phone (Spike, xDrip, or possibly even Dexcom) you can forward notifications from those apps to the watch.

So, while you wont be able to get constant glucose monitoring, its still possible that you would be able to get High and Low alerts -- So there may still be some value there.

That being said, the Versa is a pretty small watch and I think a kid could probably pull it off reasonably without it looking huge.

Would you know if the amazip fitbip model, that of the image below, is compatible with Glance ?

Nope sorry, the amazip Fitbit is running a different OS and will not work with Glance.

Glance will work with the Fitbit Versa, Versa lite and Ionic smart watches
