Odd behavior: island splits by crossing over?

This is similar to the backtracking problem with an additional feature where users will get lost if not paying attention.

The minute user does a loop the island splits. Then he/she might hesitate and start backtracking creating even more problems. True they can go in an reattach once he/she discovers the technique.

Notice the red disc bottom right indicating as a warning.
