Change the value of "Ditto_Theme_File Version" at the top from 1 to 2 or 3 |
Hey bro. Thank you very much for your answer, it really works as you say. Thanks again. 😀😄 |
You're very welcome! (Nice theme by the way!) |
Thank you very much, yes, I wanted to make a theme with the original colors of the Xda page and it has been very good. By the way, I also created this theme inspired by the colors of Dracula's palette, hope you like it too. 🙂 Regards. |
Wow, that one looks great too! Well done, This is a dark gray theme that I made, I didn't like the built-in dark theme in ditto because it was a bit too dark for me. |
Your theme looks great too, it's more comfortable to use your theme than Ditto's built-in dark theme. 👍 I have found that in the latest beta version I cannot add more themes, even though I have successfully changed the version number as you told me before. Hope the developer can fix that. Have you tried the other two bonus themes that come with Ditto? They are called Nord and Terminal, and they look good too. |
Thank you!
Hmm, I can't seem to find that beta version anywhere. Where did you get it from?
Yes, they look cool. |
Never mind, I found it here. I just tested it, and it's working fine for me. |
How strange, what version are you using? I am using the latest portable 64bit beta version and the new themes do not appear in the Ditto configuration, maybe it is because I am using a beta and portable version? |
I'm using Ditto Portable 64bit Version 3.24.204.0, and all themes are showing up normally. |
ok, later I will see what the problem is, maybe it can be solved by clearing the cache, temporary files, entries in the Windows registry etc and then opening Ditto. Well that's it, thanks for the help. :) |
Hi.
First of all, I must clarify that I am not a developer or programmer.
I am using the latest 64bit portable version of Ditto (3.23.124.0) and I am comfortable with the program, but I have a problem.
As I see that only two themes in the Themes folder are insufficient (Classic and DarkerDitto), I wanted to create my own theme and this is what I did:
<Ditto_Theme_File Version = "3" Author = "Ditto" Notes = "">
to<Ditto_Theme_File Version = "1" Author = "My username" Notes = "Name of my Custom Theme">
and I change the name of the file Classic - Copy.xml to Any Name.xml but after making these last 2 changes my new custom theme no longer appears in the Ditto settings.I used the Notepad++ editor thinking it was a Visual Studio Code editor problem but I got the same result. I also tried modifying the Classic.xml file to my custom values, but after in the Ditto configuration only the DarkerDitto theme appeared. Modifying an existing theme is easy, but I don't understand why my custom theme doesn't appear in the Ditto settings.
Searching the internet I found this theme and this other theme and when I put those themes in the Themes folder I see that they do appear in the Ditto settings, but why doesn't my custom theme appear? 😥
I have attached a txt file of my new theme so you know that everything is in order. I hope so.
I await your help.
