Currently there are * things I don't like in Ditto:

  1. If one-line entry's text can't fit the window width, the text shrinks instead of wrapping
  2. One-line entries which text fits window width still have the maximum height instead of shrinking vertically
  3. With 2nd problem in mind, multiline entries which text fits the available space are undestinguishable from multiline entries which text is not shrunk. So, just by looking at the entry, you can't know if it's all text it have, or there's more that didn't fit hoisontally

So, to solve this visual issues I suggesting the options (user can enable or disable, names are drafty):

  1. "Adjust objects height" – shrink all entries (objects) vertically if possible (so, the entries won't have extra empty space if they have less lines that are set in "object lines display [number]")
  2. "Wrap text" – wrap text if it doesn't fit in one line, but there's empty lines left
  3. Display something on the left/top/bottom of shrunk entries, so they can be distingushed from not shrunk
