if that fails core dep requirements, we can try this instead:

which is MIT-licensed (and is the one used by Arch, which is a relatively BSD-esque linux)

anyways, yeah, it causes util-linux to fail compilation. sorry, skrzyp. i imagine you'd be able to replace it with pkgsrc after install.
