CloudFlare ToS Issues causing SSL domain mismatch #75
Comments
Wondering about this as well... |
The domain has not expired, but is configured for the domains |
You could temporarily switch to https://gitcdn.link if you are running something in prod. |
The TL;DR is that CloudFlare changes some policies near the end of December 2020, these changes were mostly innocuous, bar one new section: 2.8 of the ToS now states that no media can be delivered via their free tier, and to be able to serve them I would need to pay for a pro tier plan (~$20/month), though info on what plan I'd be required to choose is a little scarce. Given the way this service can be used, there may be other outages coming as things stand. My options are:
I'll probably end up choosing the last option, and start a patreon to help cover the costs. |
Thanks for working on this, looks like everything is up and running as expected! I use the service in a pretty minimal way, but would be happy to support a patreon campaign or another type of service that helps keep gitcdn running. Thanks for all the time and effort that goes into keeping this project active! |
I have had this same issue 2 times so far today. |
Im not using git anymore and uninstaled it. how do i get rid of gitcnd.xyz please? |
Bitdefender keeps spamming me with this (again?). Did something change? |
Hey! We noticed that the 'gitcdn.xyz' domain doesn't have an valid SSL certificate anymore. Is this an known issue?
