ISSUE: Selecting Browser Bar Text #124

Hi, I've been using Location Bar Enhancer for a short while now and I have run into one issue with it.

In the past if I wanted to copy a component of the URL (for example if I was copying the title of the wiki page I was on), I would simply double click on that segment of text.

With Location Bar Enhancer, this instead opens the branch of the site which you are copying and does not select the text in the URL. Instead you have to select the browser bar first (F6) then double click the component. If you are a mouse user, that requires clicking in the browser bar where there is no breadcrumb and then moving accross which I can imagine could be quite difficult.

Thanks,
Josh Miller.

You can hover over the urlbar while holding the Ctrl key for a quick access to plain text version of the url. Then you can double click as you would have done normally without the addon.

Does that solve the purpose ?

Unfortunately not. It appears that holding Ctrl stops the double click from
working on any text (Windows 8.1, Firefox). This means to get the
functionability I usually get, I have to release Ctrl between the two
clicks in the double click, which is a ridiculous maneuver to get it to
work.

Thanks for the response and the tip anyway.

Josh.

You just have to hold Ctrl while you hover your mouse on the urlbar. After
that you can leave ctrl.

Its hard to explain, but it comes naturally once you try it out.
