- Read until 103 (end of chapter 3)
- Big step vs. small step semantics - what is the actual difference?
- Didn't even bother with mathematical description
- Intro chapter - don't skim and take the time to understand the material
- Liked the explicitness of the examples
- Pace about right, maybe a little much content
- Tail call recursion/optimization
