Friendly notice: the crate doesn't build

Hello 🦀 ,

While trying to test out this crate as a dependency, I found that the crate currently fails to compile (ak = "0.1.1").
I tried changing the versions of the dependencies to make the master branch build,
but it seems there needs to be a major change to the code structure in order to fix the dependencies (Tokio, Futures) 😿

p.s.
if the project is no longer to be maintained, I think yanking the crate from crates.io would be a good idea :)
