Need Surround (vs. Stereo) configs

Please consider supporting more than stereo, e.g. 12 channels for Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 etc.

I really like your idea, thank you!
However, I do not know the correct mastering methods for such a large number of channels.
Apparently, considerable research will be required here. 😉

Well it would be nice to have a working sandbox while you research.

FYI I'm currently using six stereo plugin instances, or two 5.1 plugin instances of dynamics processors and matching equalizers. I haven't had any issues with the lack of channel chaining.

It's very hard to find single instance plugins that support anything beyond 7.1.2 in any case.

My particular use case is up-remix, so matching the dynamics and tonality of the original stereo, with the 7.1.4 for Atmos or DTS:X is the goal.
