I created a tweet bot which tweets about First timers only issues on Github @first_tmrs_only, which are otherwise not very discoverable on Github alone.

@abhisekp I had 4554 GitHub emails! I just found it. I'm a bad person. I don't know how to see just the important GitHub emails and avoid the NOISE.

@shanselman if you use an iPhone or iPad, you can use the CodeHub app, which enables push notifications which are configurable. It is an open source project, which can be edited to customise it to your needs.
