Custom chat colours do not persist in upgrade to 5.4.0 #5314
Comments
Same issue here for both Win10 and Mac OS 11. All colors lost, and now I can only change the color of myself. |
Same on Linux too. |
same here on MacOS 11 |
Really hope this is a bug and not intention. |
Any response or movement? |
I wish this issue was given priority. I find myself confused constantly and I'll be sending messages to the wrong contacts. |
This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions. |
Still an issue. |
Closing because this seems to be working as intended. The mapping of colors changed between those versions and any previously set of synced colors did not apply so it's now using the default conversation color. You can change the default conversation color in preferences, or you can change an individual chat's conversation color via the header menu. Please let me know if I've closed this in error and there is a bug here. |
Bug Description
Your chat bubbles are blue regardless of the colour set for the conversation in preferences
Steps to Reproduce
Actual Result:
All chat colours are blue
Expected Result:
Chat colours should be based on the set custom value.
