I'm using the "Play Music" (Google Music) app on my Kindle Fire, and I'm seeing songs show up twice on both my libre.fm and last.fm profiles.

Same issue here. To reproduce listen to a single track until it ends and no music is playing. Then start playing a second track and the first track gets scrobbled again.

For me, the music doesn't need to completely stop for this to happen. It happens for every song, whether or not that song is the last in the current playlist or not.

I just started using the app on my Samsung Galaxy Player and I too have this problem.

This pull #149 may be your solution. Check it out!

It's worth noting that I'm using a new device (Nexus 6) now with the same app, and that no longer happens.

I don't know if updates to Play Music fixed it, or if switching to a new device fixed it.
