glitch-soc added a reactions feature in 4.1.0, which lets users react to posts with any emoji in addition to boosting and favoriting.

me too! i am, however, kinda scared to touch upstream's image loading (which also handles custom emoji loading and is the reason images sometimes don't load at all), and i'm also not sure how i'd go about supporting normal emoji using the custom emoji picker…
i do, however, plan to support this - once i figure out how ^^'
