Some v2 doc images are not displaying

Describe the Issue (screenshots encouraged!)

There's a number or pages where images are not loading. We should review the source and look to resolve this. This includes:

1. Homepage - the small avatar in the floating card example
2. Several images on the scroll container section
3. Etc (haven't had a chance to do a full audit)

NOTE: some of the images appear to be coming and going, so it could be a temporary outage.

It may also be a good idea to move these images to local sources to prevent outages in the future.

The issue seems to have mostly resolved itself, so I'll close this for now.
