Jump to initialLocation if I press refresh in browser #22
Comments
At first show the current page where I pressed the refresh but after jump to main location. |
@csinesz I cannot reproduce with example app using beamer v0.2.0. Are you using version 0.2.0? |
Hi @slovnicki, I've tried it with your sample APP, and after few sec jumped to main screen. (Chrome - Mac OS) |
@csinesz Still, cannot reproduce on Mac also. Screen.Recording.2021-01-20.at.19.49.28.mov |
@csinesz is this bug still present in the books example at v0.3.0? |
@slovnicki yes it still present - try to refresh books page (where list books) and after refresh move the cursor to one of book (ListTile). Buttons, Images, ListTile, Text (any widget?) ... can trigger this bug. |
Interesting. I definitely cannot reproduce on Linux, but will try later on Mac |
Hi. I can also reproduce this bug, but only in the chrome window/tab that is opened via Android Studio (which I am using for development) when I run the project. If I copy and paste the link in a new chrome window, a new tab in that initial window, or any other browser, it works as it should. Maybe it has to do with the properties with which Android Studio opens chrome. |
@Vrachno wow, that is really insightful! Thank you for this precious discovery. I'm wondering, can you @csinesz also confirm that the issue is only present in chrome opened by Android Studio? |
@slovnicki @Vrachno Yes I can confirm - If I build the APP and run in browser - it works perfect. But Android Studio makes bug... I think you can close this issue. |
Maybe you should mention this in the Docs... I also stumbled about this "bug" and spent some time fiddeling it out until I found this reports... |
@SoftXperience Indeed, I should. |
Great, thank you. Because it is really annoying as it also renders hot reload unusable. But I found a solution / work around in #123 (comment) |
