Card listing broken in Firefox #35

Thanks! Could you provide:

Sure, Firefox version and OS: FF 107.0 on RH Linux. Link: https://vdb.im/decks/FoL: Page Screenshot: Debug console screenshot: |
Looks like this error is caused by Incognito mode (or maybe some other privacy addon but I ran several like uBlocks on my Firefox and have no problem), It prevents usage of browser storage (which is where cardbase is stored for faster and reliable access). Honestly, I don't have incentives to spend efforts on fallbacks for such cases as VDB is already privacy-friendly without additional browser modes, and this is where it's simpler for me to tell "please disable it" rather than maintaining two different storage types. However a notification may be useful instead of just empty screen, I'll take a look now to track this problem and show it. Could I kindly ask you to check if the issue is resolved by disabling incognito mode and let me know if I can close the issue (notification for such cases is in the backlog, but the issue itself will be WONTFIX-state) or that problem is different so I'll try to figure out what else is wrong? |
I can confirm the reported behavior only occurs in incognito mode for me. I tested that when logged in or logged out, normal browsing mode displays the cards as expected. |
Incognito-mode compatibility is not expected to arrive. |
When a card list should appear when selecting a deck or searching under Crypt or Library, nothing shows up in Firefox.
Everything works under Chrome, but in FF some warnings appear in the Debugging console.
