Some of the GENESIS and SeqVarTools methods don't work correctly for sex chromosomes when "sex" is not a variable in the phenotype annotated data frame. Would it be helpful to add a warning either in the SeqVarData constructor or the validateSex method if "sex" is not in the annotation or if it is coded differently than expected?
