Keep complete FWA package for now - downloading via BCDC is still a manual (and time consuming) process.
Consider reducing the size of the FWA.gpkg bundle (and the need to maintain it) by using bcdata to download via WFS. This should work fine for most layers. Large layer requests could be split up by watershed group.
Downloading from WFS via bcdata is not quite reliable enough - even when splitting up the request for large tables (streams, linear boundaries, watersheds) by watershed group, several groups will fail. Stick with the existing FWA.gpkg dump for now - with benefit that this is far faster.
Provincial layers previously too large for the distribution service are now directly downloadable via the DataBC catalogue.
